In his 1977 turing award lecture, John Backus highlights what he considers to be severe limitations in the then-current programming languages and proposes a new language FP that attempts to addresses these limitations. (i) How does FP differ from traditional functional languages? (ii) Discuss whether or not current languages address the limitations enumerated by Backus. You need to read only through section 11 of the turing award lecture. Limit your answer to no more than 1.5 pages of typed text using a reasonable font and line spacing.
