Research Interests

My research focus is complex systems modeling and optimization. In these systems, varied interactions between interconnected components generate the system-level behavior. I generate models for these types of systems where spatial interactions influence behavior, and then search for optimizations in the system. This work has taken me in a few directions, looking at problems of resource sustainability, and some other fun stuff.
